MICHAEL EAST
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Michael East is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Firestone Partners. Before founding Firestone, he spent nearly a decade at Blackstone and Citi, focused on industrial real estate, logistics platforms, and real estate private equity. At Blackstone, Michael worked across multiple investment strategies and played a key role in the growth and asset management of large-scale industrial and self-storage portfolios, including the expansion of a self-storage platform to over $2 billion of AUM. Across his career, he has been involved in more than $10 billion of real estate transactions, financings, and capital markets activity. Michael holds a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a former national champion squash player.
MARC HEDRICK
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Marc Hedrick is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Firestone Partners. Before founding Firestone in 2025, he served as a Director at Stonelake Capital Partners, where he led acquisitions and asset management across the firm's Southeast industrial portfolio. During his tenure, Marc oversaw approximately 5 million square feet of shallow bay and infill industrial assets, and was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, leasing strategy, and execution across the value-add portfolio. He brings deep operating experience in the small- and mid-bay industrial sector, with transactions completed across the Southeast's highest-growth logistics markets, spanning acquisitions, leasing, capital projects, and portfolio operations. Marc holds a BA from Princeton University where he captained the Varsity Golf team.
